DEFINITIONS OF DEAF-BLINDNESS
Deaf-Blind is an umbrella term used to describe people who have some form of a combined vision and hearing loss. ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Assistive Technology (AT) for Individuals Who Are Either Deaf-Blind or for Have a Combined Vision & Hearing Loss are any technologies that will provide one with the visual and/or auditory information which would normally be obtained through the use of one's vision or hearing senses.
