  • Travel & Registration support for members to attend the National Convention for the Deaf-Blind and/or other national or regional activities designed for the Deaf-Blind or have Combined Hearing &Vision Loss ( Current Project : Recently Assisted 2 members to attend the week long Seabeck Camp for the Deaf-Blind in Seattle, Washington; August 24 - 30, 2009.

AzADB Wish List:

Grocery Store Gift Cards for our fund raising events or our recreational activities

  • Gift Cards to Restaurants, Department & Specialty Stores, Services, Etc. to be used as prizes in our raffles
  • Airline Tickets or Vouchers to be used to help send individuals who are Deaf-Blind or have Combined Vision & Hearing Loss and their volunteer human service providers to the National Convention of the Deaf-Blind or other national and regional activities that are specifically designed for the benefit of those living with these conditions.
  • LCD Projector for association meetings so that the individuals who can see large print would be able to share the resources of one computer typist and one very large screen instead of the current situation whereby members are being scattered around several computers trying to share the view of a typical computer monitor.
  • Hotel Rooms or Cabins in areas that are by water, in the mountains or close to a touristy place which members could use with the help of volunteer human service providers to have a leisure time experience that normally most of them can never afford otherwise.
  • Good Used Working Computers that are strong enough to work with Assistive Technology for members who do not have the resources to obtain their own off the shelf computers.
